Just click on the cover to reserve your copy!                                         Meet Jean and Chip   My name is Jean Alvis, and I am the creator of Little Luxuries of Virginia.  All of my soaps, lotions etc. are handmade (not mass produced) and are made right here in central Virginia.  I use only the finest quality ingredients and fresh, clean fragrances.  All of my handmade soaps, body butters, and lotions are beautifully packaged and delivered right to your door! Our handmade goat's milk soaps uses milk from local vendors here in Virginia. Best of all.....Little Luxuries are modestly priced so you can enjoy them yourself, and get a few for your friends, sisters, mothers, teachers, and others. After retirement, I still felt I needed to stay busy and decided to draw upon my skills in the world of crafts. I had always wanted my own business, so with the encouragement of my husband, Chip, and guidance from a gifted friend, I embarked on the world of soap making.  I really enjoy trying out new fragrances for a new soap or lotion.  Some clients have told me how certain fragrances remind them of their childhood, while others have enjoyed a wide variety of scents and have given many away as gifts.  Little Luxuries have made so many people happy -- which brings a special kind of fulfillment to me. My husband Chip was a hand/steel engraver for 30 years.  He has used that wonderful talent to design and custom engrave our soap molds in order to provide our clients with unique and attractive gifts.  We have had so many people comment in delight at the beautifully engraved initials on our soaps!  Chip has been a source of inspiration, hard work, and a great partner in Little Luxuries.  Thank you for visiting our website and reading about us.  We love being a team and working together to provide you with Little Luxuries!    Meet Amber Curles, the new Director of Marketing.
